Research
I am currently working on two new projects:

1. Mathematical Analysis of Perception: I am currently involved in a mathematical analysis that I am hoping to provide a theoretical framework to answer one question:
Why do we see a virtual line when we look at ……………………. ?
2. Developing a theoretical framework to provide a potential unified explanation for some of the puzzling phenomena in unilateral neglect
Research Proposal
Designing Experiments to Investigate the Processing of Information underlying Balance and Fall Rehabilitation: I have outlined a research program to study the processing of information underlying the balance and fall rehabilitation for the at-risk elderly population within the framework of applied research. Currently, I am reformulating the elements of the experiments for clinical populations such as various groups of patients who experience limitations in their balance and locomotion. Considering the neuroplasticity endowed in the nervous system and adopting a reverse engineering approach, the experiments are also set to answer some of the puzzling methodological/theoretical questions in the investigation of balance and fall.

* I welcome collaboration with scientists who are interested in further developing this program of research and conducting the experiments.
Writing books

1. I am preparing to begin writing a book on the theoretical investigations of visual illusions
2. I am planning to write a book on the contributions of methodological approaches to understanding psychopathology
My hope is that someday my research helps enhance the quality of peoples' lives.
